All commercial vehicles must do drug testing
All drivers must be 25 or order with proof of insurance on all drivers.
All drivers must have clean criminal record
All driver must not exceed 6 points
All of ontario must have authorization form signed by customer & officer is a MUST
I firmly believe that the towing industry would not be in the state it is in if a universal, rotational dispatch was used instead of ” first available”.
Protocol should take precedence.
The toeing industry is getting out of hand. The bad apples are ruining a good thing for people that have been in business for a long time and that are respected. These “CHASERS” have no respect for themselves or anyone else. They drive like maniacs and kill people to get to an accident. They need to be shut down, they need to be punished, they need to be made to follow the rules. I do my best to stay above board, legal and fair. It’s very frustrating watching the other guys get away with ripping the general public off and fraudulently stealing from my business. Telling customers that they represent me, are there on my behalf – BS – they need to be punished and stopped. That was a bit of a rant but I am so tired of playing buy the rules to only not get ahead.
Completely agree with Eva’s comment (and understandable rant) on chasers. It is unethical and potentially extremely unsafe for everyone on the road. This practice needs to be banned and drivers deserve to be protected from this practice through the law and knowledge. Ethical, professional, respectful towing companies providing excellent reliable local service are being detrimentally affected by this practice and drivers needing a tow are getting used in this. The flat out lying is the worst and should face prosecution.
